Whiz Kids of the Week

Connie Burgess, WSCP Communications Coordinator, sends this note:

AOL has started interactive websites for local news. After meeting with our BASE participants on Tuesday and reviewing their blogs and TV productions on WayCAM.tv, the Wayland editor decided their efforts merited selection as "Whiz Kids" of the week.

I couldn't agree more with this line in her article:

"Key to Awesomeness: These students have successfully created news programs and interviews that are impressive productions for people much older than they are."

If you go to www.wayland.patch.com site today (February 10, 2011), you will see two articles about us on the left side of the page under "Read More."

I would be remiss if I did not mention Jim Mullane, WayCAM Station Manager, who continues to do outstanding work with our "Whiz Kids."

You can contact Connie at 508-655-6406.
