For Middle School kids and younger, the best search site. The search engine accepts questions in regular English. I asked - what causes the seasons? - the page returned gave a very good and easy to understand answer, as well as diagrams. The sites indexed by Ask Jeeves are selected by content editors and are all "G-rated" and written specifically for children. There is also a section on the page which returns results from other search engines. Those results have not been reviewed, but have been filtered for content by SurfWatch. |
