2008-2009 Wayland Middle School
Science Olympiad

JOIN US!!! The science olympiad is a team of students in grades 6, 7 and 8 who share an interest in science. The team gathers weekly on Tuesdays to prepare for regional and state level competition in 23 different events. Physics, chemistry, biology, geology, astronomy, meteorology, and engineering are the basis for the challenges of the olympiad.

For anyone who has a curiosity about the world, you might be surprised how much fun you can have with science as a member of the Science Olympiad team. All middle school students are welcome.

Coach:  Mr. Rivera

Meetings:

  • Tuesdays after school from 2:30-4:30
  • In the Applied Science Lab
  • Meetings begin on October 28, 2008.
